Game of the Century!

 

Watching hockey night in Canada on Saturday, I couldn’t help ask myself if the playoffs have started. Oilers vs. Canucks was hands down the best game I have seen in a long time. There was just enough scoring, fighting and intensity for any fan to enjoy. I mean even Linden got into the action without breaking a hip. Many of the people I have talked to said it was old style hockey again. I totally couldn’t disagree more, this is “New Style” hockey. A fast paced game, with alot of skill and aggression. The old game simply didn’t have this caliber of hockey and players back in the day. Finally we are seeing an exciting game we all can enjoy! Be sure to tune in for the rematch on April 3rd , hopefully it will be just as intense. As long as the coaches and refs don’t discourage the type of game we all enjoyed on Saturday.
